Our Story
1982
Training Begins
Jesse and Myron Dorshak start training on tree care, tree safety and proper pruning. They work for multiple tree service companies to round out their understanding.
1986
Dorshak Founded
Dorshak Tree Specialists is officially founded.
1988
Project Expansion
On weekends and after hours, Jesse and Myron start taking on more and more of their own tree projects.
1990s
Dorshak Expands
Business steadily picks up and the Dorshaks add more employees to the business.
2000s
Major Companies Sign On
We start performing tree care for major companies, like Hawks Landscaping, KEI, Aurora Healthcare and Wisconsin State Fair Park.
2020s
Award Winners
We’ve won the Top Choice Award from Milwaukee Journal Sentinel every year from 2021 to today.

We offer our employees the chance to grow, learn and help transform our company. All employees are eligible for MATC Arborist Apprenticeships, a three-year program. Every year, you’ll also participate in many arborist continuing education conferences. We believe in growth, year after year.
